Sono necessarie conoscenze di chimica e fisica più approfondite rispetto a quelle generalmente acquisite in ambito universitario?

SB - È necessario conoscere i materiali che si stanno usando, sapere quali possono essere colorati, quali resistono meglio all’uso, al calore di una lampadina o al peso; individuare le colle più efficaci nel tempo con uno o con l’altro materiale; sapere quali resine possono essere usate per rendere più resistente nel tempo una cornice per specchi o una libreria in cartone... facendo sempre attenzione a utilizzare solo elementi che rispettano l’ambiente.
È comunque tutto frutto dell’esperienza: provare, sbagliare, riprovare!
SB - You need to be acquainted with the materials you use, to know which ones can be painted, which ones best withstand use, the heat of a light bulb, or weight; to discover which glues are the most effective in time with one material or the other; to understand which resins can be used to make a mirror frame or a cardboard bookcase last longer... Always being careful to use only eco-friendly components.
However, it’s all a matter of practice: try, miss and retry!
