Hundertwasser’s last work inaugurated in Germany

The last building based on original plans of Austrian architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser was inaugurated in Magdeburgo (east of Germany): it’s a development by whom the artist intended to create a urban “oasis of humanity”. Hundertwasser, dead in 2000 and well-known for the ecological aim of his odd architectures, planned a building complex full of green areas. The “green citadel” comprises a hotel, a nursery-school, offices and special dwellings [Deutsche Welle].
