Jean Nouvel: inauguration of the Museum on Quai Branly (Paris)

French President Jacques Chirac inaugurated in Paris the most important cultural project of his mandate, the Museum of Arts and Civilizations on Quai Branly. The building, designed by architect Jean Nouvel with 25 of his partners, is dedicated to art from Africa, Asia, Oceania and from the Americas: all the handiworks which usually has no room into the bright halls of big museums [el mundo / ELPAIS.es / BBC].
