New York: Renzo Piano’s expansion design for Whitney Museum was approved

Whitney Museum expansion is intended to exhibit a big part of its collection, that comprises more than 15,000 art works. On Tuesday night, New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission approved Renzo Piano‘s design, after the Museum – the most important in the world dedicated to American Contemporary Art – revised his original proposal [El Universal / NY Newsday / New York Times].
