The House of Spiritual Retreat (Sevilla) by Emilio Ambasz on show at MoMA

The House of Spiritual Retreat, situated in a idyllic natural landscape nearby Sevilla, was turned into an icon of minimalist and environment-oriented architecture by an exhibition the New York Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) dedicated to it. The house, designed in 1975 by Argentinian Emilio Ambasz, was built in 2004 and features as a peculiarity two white walls, that form a 90 degrees angle, rising above surrounding grass and resembling a sailing boat on a deep green sea [el mundo].
