US: Alexander Gorlin’s Townhouse in Ruskin Place (Seaside, Florida)

The Ruskin Place Townhouse, designed by architect Alexander Gorlin, was conceived as a critique to the prevailing architectural style in Seaside and, at the same time, as an expression of that town's distinctive language. Accomplished abstraction is the opposite of post-Victorian cottage style and classicism of the other houses in Ruskin Place, a pedestrian square near downtown Seaside.
