Vilnius (Lithuania): Zaha Hadid to design ‘Guggenheim Hermitage Museum’

Zaha Hadid won the competition to design the “Guggenheim Hermitage Museum” in Vilnius, Lithuania. It was part of the feasibility study made by Guggenheim Foundation and Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg (Russia). The winning entry by Zaha Hadid will be on display, together with the proposals submitted by Daniel Libeskind and Massimiliano Fuksas, at the Jonas Mekas Visual Arts Center, Vilnius, until June, 2008 [dezeen / The Architects’ Journal].
