THE AIA EMERGING NY ARCHITECTS PRESENTS:
GROEN HOEK: THE EAST RIVER COMMUNITY BOATHOUSE COMPETITION
An international open ideas competition to design a boathouse for the community of Greenpoint in Brooklyn, New York.
The competition registration opens September 1, 2003, and ends December 5, 2003.
The deadline for entries will be 4 PM on January 16, 2004.
Up to four competition winners will be chosen with cash prizes ranging from $1,000 to $5,000.
The competition will culminate in an exhibition at the Center For Architecture in New York City, Spring 2004.
The competition is open to all design students and young professionals including artist, architects, landscape architects, graphic designers, and urban planners who have completed their education at the undergratuate or graduate level within the past ten years.
