Little Free Library Design Competition, una piccola libreria a cielo aperto

concorso di design

consegna entro l'11 novembre 2016

Little Free Libraries® are installed in front yards, community centers, and public spaces all over the world, acting as book exchanges and neighborhood hubs. There are nearly 40,000 of these structures worldwide—connecting people and supporting literacy.

Design a little free library, help a community, and win the opportunity for your library to be mass produced and have global impact.

Project must meet the following requirements:

- Distinctive architectural style, internationally inspired
- Considers to the needs of stewards
- Addresses a specific environment
- Plans will be contributed to the LFL community archive
- Inspires the feelings of surprise + delight
- Must be able to accommodate a Little Free Library charter sign
- Must hold at least 25 books

ELIGIBILITY

Chronicle Books, Little Free Library, and AIASF are inviting architects, designers, students, and book lovers of all kinds to rethink this unique structure, and solve some problems identified by stewards- the neighborhood heroes who care for them.

AWARD

All winners receive architectural libraries worth $300, and their libraries will be produced and donated to a community in need.
