The ideal candidate should fulfil the following prerequisites:-
a) Fluent in English C1 (reading/writing and speaking). As a result of the studio's overseas operation’s all projects, communication and project related information is in the English language therefore an advanced knowledge of the language is essential. Interviews will be held strictly in English.
b) Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, Sketch Up and 3D Modelling software Rhino, 3DS Studio Max / 4D Cinemax.
c) The candidate should have a thorough knowledge and ideally possess a personal database of companies manufacturing high end interior design materials, furniture, accessories for efficient, independent sourcing of project specific materials, FF&E etc.
d) Suitable honours degree in Architecture or Interior Design with minimum 2 years of working experience.
e) Residential proximity to Siena, Italy (50km radius) or willingness to relocate in January.
f) Immediate Availability.
g) Partita IVA
h) Availability to travel internationally.
The role will require the successful candidate to have a refined personal taste, to be self motivated and meticulous in their work, and to be technically able to develop a project from concept design to shop drawing level in communication with other members of the team and any project appointed sub consultants / specialists according to preapproved programmes.
The position offered is based in Italy rather than in our Dubai office, candidates interested in being based in Dubai should not apply for this vacancy.
