Germany > The “Dandelion Clock” [that’s to say Taraxacum, tn] Kindergarten, designed by Ecker Architects, trains 38 children with physical disabilities or retarded development. The project required an affordable structure, that has been quickly constructed. Four repetitive modules compose the building: each of them houses two classrooms and a therapy room. Jutting out parts provide shade to classrooms during the summer, and allow outdoor playing on external terraces even under bad weather [Arquitectura Arkinetia].
