Junior Interior Designer / Stylist – Knot Creative Spaces Department
Location: Al Quoz 1, Dubai, UAE
Reports to: Senior Interior Designer and Head of Creative / Brand Director
Department: Knot Creative Spaces
About Knot Creative Spaces
Knot Creative Spaces is the visual heart of Knot Home, where every corner, camera frame, and customer touchpoint is designed to feel intentional, calm, and deeply Knot Home. Rooted in interior design and styling, the department translates the Knot Home ethos across every scale, from fine product details to larger spatial planning and brand environments. As we grow over the next 2–3 years, this function will expand into a stronger creative engine — shaping spatial direction and visual storytelling across touchpoints, including visual direction, showroom design, and broader cross-brand spatial storytelling.
The Junior Interior Designer works closely with the team in developing design and styling concepts, while taking ownership of spatial setup and on-site coordination to ensure the design direction is delivered correctly and consistently.
Role Overview
The Junior Interior Designer will support Knot Creative Spaces across interior design and styling—assisting with mood board development, sourcing of products, and hands-on setup to deliver launch-ready spaces. The role requires a strong eye for detail, a practical mindset, and comfort moving between creative work and on-ground execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Senior Interior Designer in developing concepts for launches, styled setups, and brand environments.
• Create mood boards, palettes, and simple setup guides aligned with brand standards.
• Style products end-to-end to be photo-ready, with a strong eye for proportion, color, and camera translation.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and photography teams to deliver cohesive visuals across channels.
• Contribute styling ideas and trend-led improvements that enhance marketability while staying true to the Knot Home ethos.
• Elevate physical spaces across the company (showroom, offices, creative areas) to reflect the Knot Home ethos.
• Assist with planning and executing spatial setups—moving between concept and hands-on implementation.
• Support the Interior Design and Home Trial teams for the Design Service by recommending products based on customer taste, space, and needs.
• Join scheduled client visits as required to assist product selection for homes, offices, or hospitality projects.
What we’re looking for
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in interior design and/or styling; home décor, retail, or studio background preferred, with international exposure strongly valued.
• Bachelors in Interior Design/Architecture required (Master’s preferred) from a recognized, design school; diplomas/short courses not accepted.
• Exceptional eye for proportion, color harmony, and spatial storytelling
• Deep understanding of how interiors translate on camera
• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or PowerPoint for visual boards and presentations
• Strong styling instinct and attention to detail (finish, layering, and consistency)
• Hands-on mindset and comfort with on-ground setup/execution work
What We Offer
• Daily metro pick-up and drop-off.
• Comprehensive health insurance.
• Annual air ticket to home country.
• A design-led, inspiring workspace within our newly built studio and creative areas.
• Supportive, growth-driven culture with cross-department collaboration.
• Recognition and performance rewards throughout the year.
