UNESCO declared Central University City Campus of UNAM a World Heritage site

Central University City Campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, UNAM) has been inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage list for its architectural complex. The campus is regarded by the UN organization as "one of the most outstanding icons of architecture and urbanism in Latin America".
