For the expansion of our professional team in Italy, our subsidiary value one development international GmbH is looking for an unbeatable personality with a flair for empathy and a friendly disposition in the planned office in Milan or Bologna at the earliest date possible for the following position
Your responsibilities
Act as main contact representing the owner in a professional manner.
Oversee and coordinate project teams over the course of all project phases from acquisition to hand over
Ensure design is developed in line with project goals, specs and standards
Participation in interviews and selection of perspective con-sultants, designers and contractors
Hold contractors responsible in order to deliver project in line with budget, schedule, qualities and quantities
Ensuring that assignments are executed with technical profi-ciency, accuracy, and professionalism
Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contract document, building code
Monitor and assess construction performance and record construction activities to ensure compliance with construc-tion documents
Conduct constructability reviews
Proactively uncover, evaluate and mitigate project risks
Create project schedules and budgets
Perform quantity takeoffs and cost estimating
Implement reporting and communication structures in line with company standards
Commercial oversight of all project related matters incl. as-sistance of accounting, support funding and financing, cre-ate cash flows
and perform cost controlling
Make employee safety a priority both in-house and on-site, in accordance with corporate policy.
Inspect properties and buildings and support acquisition process
Explore new opportunities and potential projects
Your profile
Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Man-agement preferred
8-10 years of construction experience either as development manager or owner representative
Owner’s Project Management work with public and private and hospitality construction projects preferred
Familiar with interpreting construction drawings, specifica-tions, contracts, estimating and take-offs, and as-built draw-ings
Experience with design-built contract environments pre-ferred
Work in a consultant setting. Track the time and monitoring activities against a budget
Teamplayer with an open mind, enjoying collaboration with international teams
Enjoys working in a flexible environment for a young and dynamic company
Excellent Italian and English language skills (oral and writ-ten)
Travel and/or field work at various Italian locations required
Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD or Construction Project Management software
