Europe biggest train station inaugurated in Berlin

Berlin inaugurated its new central train station, the biggest one in Europe. Construction of the project, designed by German firm gmp Architekten, delayed for ten years but was successfully completed in time for World Football Championship, starting in June. Every day 300.000 people will pass through the Central station, situated in Berlin’s new downtown: according to official plans, the Hauptbahnhof is expected to be reached by 1.000 daily trains, including urban raiways [ELPAIS.es].
